All of our rooms are different and unique.  The Pere Marquette and Rev. William Ferry share a bath with one another in their own part of the house.  The "West Wing Rooms" : Framboise, Davis, Astor, and Woolson, are all what we call "standard rooms," with one bed (either full-sized or queen), and a private bath.  The Colonel William Preston Suite is perfect for a long stay, as it has its own full kitchen.  The Cass and Beaumont Suites are our favorite rooms, and are designed specifically for families.

Take a look below and explore the options for your own dream Mackinac Island vacation.

Pere Marquette

The Pere Marquette Room has a double bed and shares a bath, down the hall, with the Rev. William Ferry Room.  Marquette is upstairs and has a window that views the screened in porch in the West Wing.  Located in the original 1830 part of the Inn, look for interesting features like slightly slanted ceilings, and a period antique writing table.  Our smallest, yet most affordable room, Marquette is perfect for those who are looking for a quaint stay on a tight budget.  The bathroom down the hall has a claw foot tub and shower.  Combine with the Rev William Ferry Room to receive a discount on rates.

Rev. William Ferry

The Rev. William Ferry Room has two double beds and shares a bath, down the hall, with the Pere Marquette Room.  This room is in the original 1830 part of the home.  The room has windows that face the front and west sides of the grounds, which make it a great place to relax and listen to the horses go by.  This room has ample space for the family, a great budget friendly option.  The bathroom down the hall has a claw foot tub and shower.  Combine with the Pere Marquette Room to receive a discount on rates.

John Jacob Astor

The John Jacob Astor Room is a favorite among repeat guests.  Located in the quietest corner of the Inn, the Astor is upstairs, faces out to the screened-in porch and the church-yard to the west.  This room has a double bed, and a private bath with a shower.

Madame LaFramboise

The Madame LaFramboise is a great choice for someone looking for a quiet spot to relax and read.  Located on the ground floor, this room faces the West porch and the neighboring church yard.  With a double bed and private bath, the Madame LaFramboise room makes for an excellent Mackinac Island stay.

Constance Fenimore Woolson

The Constance Fenimore Woolson room is located on the second floor and has a window viewing the screened-in porch.  Woolson's decor has been the choice of many looking for a romantic B&B experience.  This room has a queen bed and private bath, and adjoins with the Col. William Preston Suite if desired.

LaFayette Davis

The LaFayette Davis Room is located on the first floor, and has views of the West porch.  This room has a beautiful queen-sized bed and private bath with a stand-alone tile shower.  With nature themes in blue tones, this room is a relaxing retreat from the "real-world."

Colonel William Preston

The Col. William Preston Suite is the only room in the house with its own private kitchen.  A great option for extended stays, this room has a double bed, and private bath.  Many larger groups like the Preston Suite because it is possible to adjoin with either the Constance Fenimore Woolson or the Gov. Lewis Cass, or both!  With views that circle the home, Preston has a feel of your own home-away-from-home on Mackinac Island.

The Gov. Lewis Cass Suite

Once called the "Vernon Haan Suite,"  this room is a great option for families.  With a double bed, two twin beds, and a private bath, there is even room for additional cots or cribs if needed.  This room is located on the second floor, and can be adjoined with the Col. William Preston Suite if desired.  Enjoy access to the back yard, or walk right out the door to Mackinac Island's Original Butterfly House, just a few yards around the corner.

The Dr. William Beaumont Suite

The Innkeeper's favorite room, the Beaumont Suite is sure to please.  With a queen bed, two twins, and private bath, it is a great option for families.  There is also room for an additional cot or pack n play if needed.  Located on the first floor, this room is also wheelchair accessible, though please note the shower is not roll-in.  One of the highlights of this suite is a bookshelf full of the owner's collection of National Geographic Magazines, dating all the way back to the first issue.
